Northgate to enable Epping Forest College to focus on learning

Over 5,000 students and 450 staff are to benefit from Epping Forest College’s partnership with leading education technology provider Northgate Information Solutions.

Northgate has been chosen to deliver a project aimed at freeing up time for College staff and improving the service provided to students. In a contract worth over £1 million, Northgate will take full ownership of service delivery for the College\'s technical helpdesk, moving support from reactive to pro-active by monitoring and addressing problems before issues arise.

With an on-site team backed up by high-quality remote support, Northgate\'s managed service solution will support the College in:

providing an assured service delivery and creating a step change in service delivery thereby enhancing the learning process;
allowing staff to focus on education rather than administration;
keeping pace with change as the College develops and expands.

Epping Forest College believes that the enhanced service will lead to higher standards and greater pupil numbers, and provide a solid base from which to move to a planned new campus.

Speaking today, Claire Ring, Vice Principle at Epping Forest College said:
