Banbridge Academy wins Northgate's competition

04 October 2010

Banbridge Academy has been presented with a visual presenter by Northgate Managed Services, after entering into a prize draw at the ICT for Education conference in June.

As sponsors of the ICT for Education conference, Northgate Managed Services ran the competition as an incentive for schools who attended. The conference created a platform for teachers and IT professionals to examine the influence of ICT on behaviour in classrooms; and, as technology continues to develop, how schools can ensure they manage their ICT objectives effectively within an educational environment.

The visual presenter will allow work to be shared with the entire classroom - 3D objects can be projected in vivid detail on an interactive white board where even the smallest objects can be examined with automatic zoom and focus.
