Northgate Managed Services supports London to Paris 2010 Cycle

Northgate Managed Services supported a team of 6 from Northern Ireland’s technology industry who have completed a challenge of a lifetime - The London to Paris 2010 cycle tour.
Covering 520km in three days at 23km/hour meant a demanding 6 month training regime in the cold wet mornings and miserable evenings.
Along with 377 riders the team completed the tour on Saturday 27th June, having raised £40,000 for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research and Macmillan Cancer Support charities.
Brendan Mooney, Captain of the team and Managing Director of Kainos said, "Words cannot convey the gratitude that all six of us feel - the generosity of everyone has been both humbling and inspiring. London to Paris 2010 has been the most physically demanding and at times most grueling event that each of us has ever undertaken. But the pain and exhaustion that we experienced during the cycle melted away in our triumphant descent into Paris and to see the support we had."
