Northgate Managed Services launches N-able School

Northgate Managed Services launches N-able School

12 January 2010

At BETT 2010, Olympia, LONDON – 13 January 2010, Northgate Managed Services, a leading provider of ICT services and solutions to the education sector, launches N-able School, a web portal which allows learners, teachers & administrative staff to create their own personalised portal.

N-able School is an easy-to-use, flexible web portal which has been designed to meet the needs of schools, colleges and academies across the UK. It provides access to core applications along with a wide range of additional add-on widgets allowing schools to tailor the portal to their individual needs.

N-able School provides flexibility of choice by integrating all the key educational and administrative systems that individual schools currently use, allowing secure access through single sign-on from school, home or anywhere else where the internet can be accessed.

N-able school also offers flexible service levels depending on the school’s individual needs. It can be hosted and managed centrally by Northgate or alternatively the school can host and manage the product locally within the school.  This means the school has the choice and control over how the application is managed and costed.

David Hyland, Managing Director, Education, Northgate Managed Services, comments: “Appreciating the individuality of every school and the concept that one size doesn’t fit all, we are excited to be able to launch N-able School which has been designed to offer a flexible solution that users can personalise to best suit their needs.”
